5 Basic Sneakers Every Woman Needs!

Every outfit serves a purpose! The secret to avoiding the conundrum of having nothing to wear is always keeping your closet stocked with the basics. Something that you don’t have to think twice to grab when you’re in a rush!

My sneakers are the most worn essentials in my closet. Every sneaker in my closet serves a purpose especially when I’m in a rush and want something that’s easy to dress up. Today I will be discussing everyone’s favorite “grab and go” and that is sneakers! We will be discussing the most versatile WHITE sneakers I think every female should own in her closet. I hope you’re ready to take some notes!

Sneaker #1

Stan Smith’s Classic:

American tennis icon Stan Smith signed a contract with Adidas in 1973. According to the “Sneaker Report”, this contract is in 13th place among the 50 most influential sneaker sponsorships in sports history. “Complex Sneakers” placed Stan Smith at number 4 on its list of the 50 greatest tennis sneakers of all time!

I love these sneakers! they are by far one of my favorite sneakers. Three things I love about Stan Smith and why I think you should own one in your closet:

  1. Easy to dress up or dress down.

  2. Very versatile! Can be worn with any outfit.

  3. Very comfortable.

Sneaker #2

Nike Air Force 1

Nike Air Force 1 was created by Bruce Kilgore and was the first basketball shoe to use Nike Air technology. The sneaker is offered in low, mid, and high-top. Air Force 1 low is my favorite but I also have the high top. My number #1 reason why I think you should own these sneakers: is plain white sneakers go a long way! The plainest of sneakers and the simple leather tennis shoe will always be in style. You don’t have to worry about it going out of style regardless of the trends these babies will forever stay!

Sneaker #3

The Adidas Superstar :

The Superstar was originally a basketball shoe manufactured by Adidas in 1969. The Superstar shoe was originally released as a low-top version of the Pro Model basketball shoe. These sneakers are very popular within youth fashion and are now worn regularly as casual footwear, rather than for sports. I fell in love with these sneakers after watching Run D.M.C an American hip hop group from Hollis, Queens, New York, founded in 1983.

The Adidas Superstar is very versatile and adds more of a look to an outfit if you don’t like plain white sneakers.

Sneaker #4

Chuck Taylor All Star

Marquis Mills Converse founded the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts. The All-Star had three main design styles: An all-black pair with a black canvas upper and black rubber soles, an all-white high top with blue and red trim designed for the 1936 Olympics, and an all-black leather and rubber version. In 1949, Converse would introduce the iconic black canvas shoe with the white toe guard, laces, and outer wraps, in what is probably the most popular version of the shoe known today.

I absolutely love the white converse more than anything! They look very intimidating to wear because they are white but I like to think of them as a white t-shirt. They go perfectly with ankle high rise jeans and I love them for that! Also can be worn all season long.

Sneaker #5

Nike Classic Cortez Women’s

Lastly one of the most worn sneakers in my closet! Nike Classic Cortez! The Nike Cortez was the first “modern” running shoe, designed by Olympic track coach, Bill Bowerman. It was created to be a comfortable running shoe that helped with long distances and rough terrain and was first launched during the 1972 Olympics. The Nike Cortez has transitioned from a running trainer to a more casual shoe and now has been seen on the streets being worn by fashion lovers across the world.

These sneakers are very comfortable and because they were the first modern running shoe the are very comfortable to wear when running errands or long travels. I wear them every week they are very versatile and forever trendy.
