It has been proven that clothing can actually affect our mindset and behaviors. Wearing certain clothes triggers mental changes and also brings positive results.

My goal this year is to put more effort into my gym wear just as much as I do with church, work, networking events, formal events or family gatherings, etc.

It amazes me how we overlook the value of looking good at the gym! I know you’ve heard the saying “Your first impression is your last impression” That quote isn’t only for work or other public gatherings it is also a lifestyle. If you look good, people will be able to know that you are someone who cannot be easily put down. With your impressive looks, you’ll be sure to get that trust and assurance from people.

Of course, you are going to sweat during your workout, but that doesn’t mean you can’t show up to the gym in a stylish outfit. In the simplest terms, when you put effort into your gym wear, you feel more confident! Nothing is more pleasing than being satisfied with the way you look. Even Jesus wants you to represent him well by how you dress!

1 Corinthians 6:19 “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself”.

When you take the initiative in paying attention to your temple, which is your body, stunning appearance, and happy face. This may inspire others to put in more effort.

You cannot but wonder how something as insignificant as your gym apparel can affect your mood and give you confidence and a motivation boost to your need to work out.

Looking great at the gym has become as important as regular exercise. I have realized that it has helped me change my mindset about exercising and also motivated me to be self-confident in how I feel about myself.
