My Summer Style Inspo
So, summer is here and even though summer is my least favorite season it’s still one of my likable seasons because of the colors! Colors, colors, COLORS! I love the colors! In french we say “J’adore Les Couleurs”… I talk about color a lot on Instagram it’s one of my favorite sides of my closet. Today I will be sharing some of my summer style inspirations I’ve been dying to get my hands on and of course, these items will be in COLORS! Zara!
I Love, love, and LOVE ZARA! I’ve been loving what Zara has been posting on their website lately. This year I told myself I will be focusing a lot on colors for the summer and I am doing just that! The 2019-2020 fashion week was EPIC! even though 2020 isn’t going as planned for all of us. Zara still made sure we received a smile on our faces by giving us trendy colors. Yellow! yes, I said yellow! Now before you start thinking too deeply about “why yellow? it’s too bold!” that is exactly why I love it! because it’s too BOLD! I love bright colors one reason is that it’s a great statement for any outfit. Trust me you will not be disappointed! …. I recently purchased turquoise pleated wide-leg pants that I showcased on my recent Zara haul and I must say I LOVE IT! I would love to add this to my wishlist. The color, the pleated details, and it is wearable with any shoes! oh, baby, it’s a must-have alright! LOOK OUT FOR THIS ITEM ON MY INSTAGRAM!

The third item I really would love to get my hands on are these lovely PINK wide-leg pants! Now if you follow me on Instagram you know that I love wide-leg pants! rather it’s trousers or baggy jeans. Wide-leg pants will forever be a part of me. Therefore, I gagged when I saw these!! I love the way it looks like trousers from far away aka pictures but there are jeans. sadly for me, Zara can be a bit complicated for me when it comes to jeans but I’m sure when I lay my hands on it and these thighs in it… I’m sure we will turn up the heat!

Blue, blue, blue! But let’s start with this beautiful puff sleeves dress from H&M ! oh baby! this dress gives me all kinds of vibes when I’m looking at it and I couldn’t believe it was from H&M! I’ve been seeing this trend all over my Pinterest but every time I check out the link, this exact style is always overpriced! the lastest was $356! WOW! This is why we thank God for H&M! I love the detail and love the layering details ! so beautiful and will most definitely be purchasing this… I can picture this being a year around item…

NEXT! Let us talk about this blue suit, honey! I love it and I am sure it loves me back! Blue is my favorite color and I am glad that it’s part of this year’s trendy colors. I am obsessed with blazers and this matching set is giving me life! I’ve bought suits from Zara plenty of times and I must say… I would recommend them if you’re looking for some suits.

Americans say ” we saved the best for last” and I did just that! Never have I ever thought I would wear orange! But I must say orange is so beautiful on my melanin skin! Something about orange! Oh Boy ! as Dipset would say LOL! (90s babies would get the jokes and if you didn’t smh SHAME ON YOU! JK JK) LOL!
When I saw this dress I was amazed at the fact that not only is the dress satin but it was that perfect shade of orange I’ve been looking for!! I love the fact that I can wear this at work and still make it to happy hour without feeling overdressed. The mini puff sleeves is a true statement! I will most deff put this in my art!
